The Weihnachtsmarkt in Esslingen brings together a traditional Christmas market and a medieval-themed market right in the city’s beautiful old town. During our visit, Terry showed off some unexpected axe-throwing skills—hitting all three axes with the wrong end (as seen in the left picture), thereby outscoring the author of this post (who shall remain anonymous!).
